Don't like just plain tap water?
Leery of those packets of 'flavor to put in your bottled water?
I am leery of those things... Im sure in the future they'll find something wrong with them. in 5 minutes. (probably less) you can make a whole pitcher of flavored water- granted it's best if you let it sit overnight but not necessary.
I pretty much was addicted to doing this last summer. I didn't do it too much over the winter (i dunno why I didnt...I supose this seems more like 'summer drinks' but yeah, i didnt drink nearly enough water over the winter (can we say dry skin?!?! yuck.)
Did you need to know you need to drink half of your body weight in ounces every day...
If I weigh 120 pounds, then I need to drink 60 oz of water each day.

You can add pretty much any kind of fruit /veggie you want...
strawberries, raspberries, lemon, lime, orange, cucumber, mint, rosemary...uh... that is everything i can think of off the top of my head...
Today's water: lemon and cucumber has lots of benifits to your health like : Clear skin, promotes healing, helps with digestion, boosts energy levels (as I read here on this blog)
Here is today's flavored water.
Lemon-cucumber water
YUM!!!
So you need:
a pitcher
half of a lemon (or so)
about 1/3 of a cucumber
Wash the lemon and the cucumber REALLY well. (you're sticking these things in your water... you don't want any kind of yucky-ness in your yummy water.)
slice up the lemon & the cucumber. & put it in the water.
I have this handy infuser thing for my pitcher- (it used to have a lid, that it would screw into, but it broke, but this still works really well. ) also, I was at the store the other day, and saw that they have waterbottles win the infuser in them. kinda cool,
but to be honest- i kind of like the pitcher- (I can keep it in the fridge and let it get cold. rather than always have ice in it.
So slice them up, then put them in your infuser, or straight into your water.
For the infuser i cut them up small, (easier to get out when it's time to clean up the pitcher... trust me, sometimes the fruit can get stuck to those things.)
if you are doing straight water, probably the bigger the sliced the better???
anyways, so i always run the stream of water right on top of the fruit veggies, just to maybe help the process of infusing the fruit (not sure if it does help...) anyways Let it sit in the fridge over night.
can't wait like how I couldnt wait today? No problem fill your cup up with ice, and then pour and drink :)
