I know. it's been awhile. I have 11... yes 11blogs in draft. none of them I feel "fit" to be completed / shared / published. whatever. just the majority of them are just me rambling about the weather. let me sum those up for you:
It's spring.
I love spring.
hings are happening like birds making a nest in my backyard,
geese flying back north (I saw them fly south back in the fall..the other night when my husband and I were having dinner outside we saw them fly back over head. really cool experience to hear the geese honking and all flying together.
Flowers are growing
I started my garden. (seeds are planted. time to water & wait.)
With spring, comes some nasty weather (for North Texas) Im kind of excited / scared for those days.
Ok that about sums up 90% of those blogs I have in my drafts. (now I can delete them)
only 2 1/2 weeks until Easter. can you believe that?
At times it has felt like this lent season is taking longer than usual. but then at times it's like - wow. not much time left.
You see Im trying to get a head start on some of my writing for Holy Week.
(a week that I post every day. i promise.)
Like what I've done in the past, I will be writing and describing what Jesus went through in the last 14 hours of his life. Yes. I can stretch 14 hours go for DAYS. :)
It's intense stuff.
it really is.
It is heartbreaking, and yet so lovely. Lovely in the sense that JESUS loves US! He loved US....
anyways.
It is intense. but EVERY TIME I write / read / research ... each time it truly makes my heart full. full of love. and full of contentment. (not sure if that makes sense.
so just be aware... in a few weeks its going to get a little emotional.
moving on.
I'm working on my second book.
a book that really I've been working on since before my first one. I think it is taking a slightly different turn than what I had initially thought. nothing bad at all. I recently reached out to some people for input / stories, and really opened up some different things to talk about. I'm excited about it (even though it is NO where finished.)
Ok that is all for now.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day! :)
